Became a member probably around 3 yrs ago, haven't made a comment for probably a yr due to the massive amounts of garbage spoken. Not as many threads on individual races these days more on strategies and systems. Still some good stuff though, you can never have enough information just gotta learn...
grey jibiru run up bums the entire straight after missing the kick, good hope!
Really like the review mate, only query would be about the race positions race 1, to my eye I think a horse liek Spacecraft will definitely try and hold the leaders back on Mr Make Believe, its done that its past 2 starts. Mahisara is a horse who gets stirred up according to the trainer and I thi...
The New Zealanders on this site are overly patriotic, they would back King Mufhasa against Black Caviar, it seems every race a NZ horse is in its all they tip. My thoughts are that King Mufhasa can't win because it only has 1kg off MJ and is a far inferior horse, no matter how many "NZ GR1's" it ...
IMO Unless MJ has improved her stamina considerably which I dont think she has, I really believe she cannot win. She may have won over 2000m but that doesnt mean she has the stamina to run it out every time. That day they ran 7 lengths slower than the 3yold race winner fat al and the first half o...
how much did snitzerland win by?
Definitely, the danger to Buffering I think/
I think 'Cat' and 'boom horse' are very much confused. He isnt scared of the winning post, madibagold and Von Costa De Hero are scared of it, he just isnt good enough to beat Pierro and the wraps the Dunn and Hawkes have given him have gone a long way to causing his criticisms. His winning record...
With hot speed in this race it should string the field out and Le Societe will be able to get off the rails and win this on its ear. Vatican danger.
One I hadnt heard that I thought was very funny, "he's covered more ground than the early settlers and he's still got up!"
Rollerball to run a place(about $2) and Gossip Girl to win ($3), pretty safe for a double and you'd take a 500 dollar win for your syndicate any day.
Ill be steering away from the two favs, I think African Pulse would want it a bit more wet, dead 4 at the moment so it shouldnt get any worse than that but he obviously has class. Instalment looks like it'll drift and I personally don't think its a $3 shot in this but could be wrong. I like Our L...
Alberton Park looks to get a perfect run in behind the speed set by My Cookie Monster and should peal out 3 and 4 wide at turn and put them to the sword. 2kgs isnt enough of a swng for Skytrain to turn the tables, the 1 lenth margin to Alberon Park last start was unflattering of its performance, held up until 75m whereas Skytrain had clear running the entire straight.
Thanks for that guys! Takes balls to admit stuffing up a horsethat cost 100mil or whatever it was. What a pain in the ass that as soon as they are figuring him out he is eing retired! What's 1 more year?..surely the ladies can find another stallion to fill their void in the mean time lol
Bet of the day guys, Spurcific in the last at Flemington, superior straight form and the $4.60 still on offer is great value against this sort of field in my opinion.
Drawn well, hot speed in the race will suit, very long straight so time to wind up, in very good form for new yougn trainer and the freshen up is perfect, the 9s on offer were unbelievable, I think it'll win. I think the danger is Face Off.
4 horse parlay:race 5 Bendigo...Family Crest to run a place 1.50race 7 Bendigo..Picture Editor to run a place 1.80race 5 Gosford..Earnest Ernest to run a place 1.40Race 7 Gosford..Battant to win 1.65odds=$6.20.
See what your saying Bootwhip but on recent form you cant get much better than Manighar's so to not back it if u like it thinking it may come the end of it's prep, thats just not somethign Id do, would rather lose my money seeing it tire than see it bolt in and not have bet. Didnt they offer 4.5o or somethign along those lines or was that before final acceptances? Because if they did missed the boat big time with that.
I think the big difference with Mosheen to many of those horses I mentioned is she always sticks her neck out, she's tough as nails, tough horses generally stay.
Thanks mate, looking forward to him running outside WA, hopefully they underrate him and get some value in his price.
Gartman, couldnt agree more, me and my mates cnt stand him. He is always pumping up his own tyres giving the "i told ya so's" if a horse he has tipepd wins and whenever he talks one up before a race and it runs bad he has always has an excuse. Even worse, when your listening on the radio, you don...
Agree Bagman is the danger but from those similar times over the 1400m at caulfield Sheila's Star gets 4.5 kgs from Bagman when those times were with both horses carrying 54kgs. Giving it a start at the turn, 4.5kgs and we also don't know how many more lengths SS had up it's sleeve, possibly 1 or 2.
Everytime I hear his trainer (Sincero's) interviewed before a reasonably big race he says he is hoping for a dry track. He won that Guineas all on class. And he will be on the inside of the track so I'm going to risk him.
Atlantic Jewel into $1.35, starting to look good that $1.60, huge tip on Mawingo guys, bit late but know a part owner who has been told by Freedmans this horse is every bit as good as Lucas Cranach, huge wraps.
Why is Induna 30s for the Derby and other snowden horses are much much shorter after he has clearly said Induna is my Derby horse? Think people are getting caught up in the margins. Induna didnt start to excel until 1900 last prep and now it has only raced over 1600 in a group 1 and still made up good ground. Should have won the Vic Derby imo and brained them that day at Geelong. Not on Saturday but for the Derby im on.
I think Bel Sprinter will win this. Some ppl think its a bookies horse but when you have genuine excuses in Group 1s there isnt much you can do about it. Gave Kulgrinda weight and gave it wind burn first up. Margin was small but made up many lengths and it was a soft win. I think the Sydney way of going may erase its problem of laying in and it races much better around a bend. No value in Rain Affair but if its a wet track I wouldnt back Bel Sprinter.
Fair enough. Agree Alezan Thunder from the gate will be in it for a very long way. Speed map looks like he just lobs in the lead with no real pressure but have my question marks on that horse being in Adelaide, any good Kav wouldve had a go at the good 2yo races. Finiguerra MV race 5 is my bet of the weekend, 4kgs of the toppie and King rides him instead of Fawkner.
Kyria was a huge run last start and I remember the jockey getting off her saying that he feels for the horse because she is flying she jst hates wet tracks, not sure what we are getting on the weekend though. Spewing She's A Fox is in the race cos I want to back Kyria but think she might have bum...
Yeah it is a bit steep but it hurts you more for the shorter odds horses. Like if you wanted to back All Too Hard this weekend at 1.50 into him for the slipper at 7, you end up getting lower than 7s for the double. Which is stupid. You will still get a good dividend for the Rock Classic.
Sneaky money coming for All Too Hard in the slipper. Hawkes are a massive betting stable and I know the wraps they have on this horse. $7 most places at the moment.
Big double into MJ hurts, thought Luck San was better than that got to admit and weight pull helped Pago Rock. Cnt complain though had every chance.
Got that wrong thought Hay List had lengths on Foxwedge with the weights, dno what happened, I'm thinking injury but what can you do when the form just doesnt work out the way it should.
Find something better to do with your time kanga rather than be a smartass to someone when they ask for help.
Parables is a get back flash home horse who nearly always takes punters money but with Karuta Queen, Zaratone, Hurrara and La Remlap you would be mad to back an on pace runner in this race. Especially with the rain affected ground it'll only make the 1100 feel like further. Parables flies first up, handles all conditions and gets the hot speed it needs to win so hopefully it doesnt do it again to me.
Denman got retired virtually straight away overseas, don't think it even had a start.
Am not usually a More Joyous fan as much as some on here, but, did you see her trial Madmax? ran Sincero to a lip under a choke hold and sincero copped the whipe 3-4 times atleast. The money says she is back and not in a handicap race she should win easy from the good draw.
With ya Melbman, like the blinkers on this horse, speed map has it wrong he will settle in first 4 and scoot away after the turn.
whats your thoughts on Nobby Snips chances tomorrow? I don't mind Altar on a dry track at big odds mainly for the place.
