My first bet(each way) on Buffering was the day he ran 2nd to Hay List in the Newmarket. I've stuck with him ever since then and finally reaping the rewards! Two great wins with some juicy odds, have well and truly made my money back now :)

IAD has been jumping superbly this prep, I'd like to see him go forward and lead and hand up or sit 1 out and grab some cover. I think James can get him across easy enough
All you guys do realize that Buffering did get injured during the Moir run. He was 100% tonight and even if Samaready did relax early on she would've been tough going to catch the leaders.

Savvy Nature will win, he's got a big wrap on him, the scary thing is they say we wont see the best of him until next year
Great win! J.Mac although doing more work he knew what he was doing!

How's Mental coming along? It's a shame that Nechita isn't around, she would've been very competitive this season
I think Forty Thirty will lead from the draw which will mean Hornets Nest will sit outside it. Forty Thirty doesn't hand up and will beat it home
Didn't look very fit yesterday, and blinkers didn't seem to do the trick like they have been

@Mars - Like what Mordaunt said, not every horse is in the race to win. You see it with stayers all the time, they have a good 3 or 4 runs before they go to the race where they are wanting to win. Also regarding Solz and where he'll sit in the running. There isn't much noted speed around him apar...
Habibi didn't look comfortable at all on Saturday and still ran 3rd, she's got a heap of improvement left in her. She should be tough in the Oaks, just forgive her run on the weekend.
Solz was no good on the wet track. He needs it to be dry so he can show that dangerous turn of foot. I'll be laying Pierro, he hasn't looked comfortable winning in WFA and now he goes to HCP which could find him out.
Dundeel was way too far back in the Derby. He's wearing blinkers this time in so he doesn't get so far back, so that won't be a problem from now. Dundeel will have to be at least 10 lengths off the lead coming into the straight if he were to lose.
IAD won't get beaten next weekend... Fiveandahalfstar has had a good campaign so far, could've been better, but he'll run bridesmaid at best next weekend
@theoracle - Exactly mate, he's flying under the radar atm which I like. He's bigger and is going to be much better this prep, he can ride on pace and can sit back off the pace so the draw for Saturday isn't an issue, however Pierro could have to work from his draw if he's not out well.
If you feel the need to chase your losses then you have a gambling problem...
@BetterThanReady - My mate from work was talking about this, his flatmate bought this exact system. It's quite expensive apparently but it can make you a good profit. You've pretty much explained it. You customize your settings and then the software follows all the money on every race and when th...
Of course I was impressed by Pierro, but I think Solzhenitsyns run 1st up was very impressive. He had a tough run and still ran on at the end. Once he gets up to 1600m he could be dangerous.
haha i dont mind backing it for a place every now and then. But never on the nose!
Gai has always run her horses into the ground. She doesn't know when to give them a break. She'll have the best 2/3 year olds running around but once they move onto 4/5 they've had it, with the exception of MJ.

The odds are very rarely done like that here. The only time I see the odds like that is in the paper. However, like buzz said, that is correct, also for example, when you have two horses that are tied for favouritism the odds are 1/2 for the first horse and 2/1 for the 2nd horse.
Lol I wonder if these non-believers will post in this thread again after that. What a horse! Made a killing off him in these last two starts.
Solzhenitsyn will get up. Super horse who was a certainty beat last start. Heathcote has him peaked for this and with the draw he should be able to possy up somewhere nice in the running, he'll finish very strongly...
I don't understand why he stayed back for so long, surely he didn't think IAD could make up 80 odd metres on the straight... WTF was he thinking, cracking under pressure.
tell me about it! Worst thing for me is that payday is Wednesday :S. Might have to just stick to my futures bets!
