Passionate about thoroughbred racing - can't stand harness or the dishlickers. Own a share in Thorn Lake and a schitzo Danzero 4 year old out of a full sister to Notoire called Kashinite
Sadly the horse rooted every conceivable part of his problem off fore ( tendon, sessamoid etc ) on Saturday and has been retired. It was touch and go for a little while that he may not even have a retirement to enjoy. He never reached the heights that his 3 year old starts indicated he might and ...
Hi borza. Thorn Lake won a jumpout at Cranbourne today and will be nominated for a 1000 metre 0-89 restricted race at Sandown ( Betfair Park ) on Weds 14 July. Horse is going well but trainer says he won't be fully wound up and may get found out if the track is too heavy. He did get through a Hea...
Would of preferred the likely 6s plus on offer he would of got in race 7!
Couldn't agree more with TheNudge and therefore sorry Chilli but don't concur. Thought he was a squeak in the Stradbroke even before yesterdays race and that had to be the worse winning ride, if there is such a thing, as you'll ever see. In that form and a strong 1400m is right up its alley
Evening reeso. Do you have a scoop on McCardle's thing Fall in Love? Noticed it's in the noms for Seymour next Monday
Concur with TheNudge. Gerald Ryan has a big opinion on Rothesay and if the Kiwi horse draws low it's a decent outside bet
Got spruiked on Sky Radio VIC this morning in their " Spring or Fling " section. Not seen it run myself Leeroy but you're not on your own on those whom think she's decent.
I know it's winter form but this thing gave them windburn in the last at Flemington today. Hit the line going away in the style of a horse IMO destined for black type races 2000m plus
Love your work Infidel. Strong argument to say Carl Willaims putting up 25kgs overweight through an exercise bike hanging out of his helmet would of ridden her better
After the homicide one Daniel Brereton gave him last Saturday expect Boss, Oliver or Currie to be on him in the Goodwood. All have won on him and he's an EW squeak with 54KGS
Being mischievous here as it's a great decision. Michael Rodd is all class and riding as well as anyone. However after Ganderton and Oliver I would of thought the Messara's might go for the trifecta and went out and got Singo's mate Greville Starkey!
If this race is run at a decent tempo then it's a match race between Dao Dao and Vigor and I'll take the proven miler in the Hawkes beast. Can someone tell me why Marconi was stupid enough to take Raffaello back from the Kavanagh stable - were Kav's fees that high?????
Shovel shared the status
G'day borzaHe looks great and the injured tendon looks in good order but you just don't know until he goes back into serious training if he's ever going to be the same horse. He's back into pre-training for another 3 weeks before he goes back into the stable to see whether we can get a limited pr...
Agreed re Sadalbari which looked a cracking bet. I know Boss said he's a push button ride but he made a progressive horse look really good. Good chance on Beltrois in the Standish 1 Jan
Certainly not potting Jason - I look forward to tongue flapping out of the mouth as he crosses the line " Diplomatic Force in the Yallambee " style. Just that Brad has an affinity with the horse who has a Ferrari for an engine and a peanut for a brain so he's no push button ride
