I always thought that WA came under Supertab, but have recently seen TABtouch being advertised for Perth racing. Can someone advise what is the local TAB called in WA. I'm pretty sure Supertab is still used on SKy as the local TAB for pre race talk about fluctuations.
I don't use the graphs..But, with the nature of Betfair trading, ie ,with people wanting to lay horses doing most trading in the last 2/3 minutes therefore the prices would drift because the layers are keen offer a better price than currently available. Ie the betting for a race will open up with...
The 2012 Caulfield guineas wasn't fixed...ATH came out next start in the Cox Plate and finished 4 lens in front of Pierro. if Pierros wins the Guineas then his value too would increase. The Guineas is worth $1,000,000 so all the horses would be trying to win. Last night I backed King Of Dudes, it...
I worked it out Mundine has Oppositional Defiant Disorder...Signs and symptomsSome signs and symptoms that must be perpetuated for longer than 6 months and must be considered beyond normal child behavior to fit the diagnosis are:The child must exhibit 4 out of the 8 signs and symptoms liste...
I presume its like trading on the share market... laying at low odds and backing (the same) horses at good odds in order to make a profit. If u call BF I'm sure they'll be able to assist you.
Theres 3 phenomena that I believe in, in sport. 1. is momentum 2. is psychology. 3. the unexpected fightback. IMO In the 1st test the Aussies had a huge psychological issue (advantage) regarding the way they were treated in England (also known as pay back time), and England were at a psychologica...
lol....Whats wrong with Clarkie warning a guy hes gunna get his arm broken, it was very sporting to warn of such a possible event, in fact he may have saved his arm from being broken.
And what about Luskin Stars first win....there was controversy about the official margin of 12 lengths (from memory), but half the Randwick straight ain't 12 lengths.
and thanks to you DJ for the nostalgia,,,brings back memories.
DJ...I can only guess what that guy said when he got caught..."Cosma Fung Hok"..or something similar...lol
I don't know if the rules have changed recently, but in instances where the trifecta has not been won the NSWTAB will pay on a combination that has been bet on,,ie 2nd 1st and 3rd,,or 1st, 2nd and any etc... ,this raises another question, what if you backed the correct trifecta combo with a corpo...
lol....and i tipped him on PP when he was $41. I overall had a good carnival. The promotional offers made by Sportsbet made it even sweeter. Making a note to self (again), never bet pre post, I backed (and admit) I tipped Guelph for the Cox Plate though the connections decided to scratch her and ...
Ryan Maloney, guest jockey on Racing Retro,,,,asks Ron Duifficy if there is any truth to the rumour that he is Richie Callanders Mini Me...lol
Ok, (just googled bot)...even if you have a bot I presume you lay a number of runners (in running) , and the fav gets knocked over, a lot of people will quickly want to back another runner ie the 2nd fav, you still need to click cancel all bets...so a time delay can be lethal.
(I have mentioned this before)...If you want to back favourites for the place I recommend you do it on Betfair,,,,whenever I try and lay a fav on Betfair for the place everyone else seems to have the same idea and it turns into a laying war with the backer getting big overs. I'm sure the amateurs...
Considering many have said this was one of the best Melb Cups ever!!!!

Does anyone know if any Exceed and Excels won any distance races?
This is where we need a Punters Union to investigate these matters and tell offending Corporates that we Punters will black ban them if they don't improve system security and stop "leaking" or selling info.
Odds Comparison I think is great ....Sorry to state the obvious: it saves punters time surfing the net for the best odds and taking the best odds. (and reassuring Luc that people do use it) . Last week for example after the barrier draw and scratching a simple check of the odds comparison and I w...
Like I said last year when IAD was heavily tipped....be very wary of the VRC Derby, IMO its a bit like the Bermuda Triangle of horse racing, a lot of strange results happen.
I think most of us have had streaks of coming 2nd or 4th for EW bets. ..and getting nutted in EVERY photo. ,..Then winning EVERY photo. There was a similar thread to this awhile ago on PP. I had a winning (profitable) streak from last Spring till approx Xmas then a losing (unprofitable) streak f...
Agree with CH, in fact as I have suggested before, in future years when the entire Melbourne Cup field is bred/trained in Europe they may as well run the Melbourne Cup in Paris or London.
Ok, CD, What about his 4 rides on Saturday...6th $16,4th $7,3rd $41, 1st $21. (Cox Plate)Better than your average SENIOR jockey.
I never backed em, but when they got up they were always at good odds.

(back to the subject of this thread) Theres a paragragh in the daily Telegraph about it p.50.
PETER said HAYES why so MOODY I said i'm sad but JOHN is SADLER. I was just CUMMINGS from the TEMPLETON when a bullet just ricO"HEAed and just grazed my SHINN. An off duty nurse bandaged it with a nice BOWMAN.
GUV, are they matching your deposit with the $600 bonus, is it a Bonus bet, or several bets.
Agree with Fantana, I used to bet with Betezy but they kept on changing their rules (on trots) about how limits on how much you can bet and win to get best of 2 totes. Too many snaeky rules for me. They also offered me bonuses to come back but who needs em in these days of high competition among ...
Sorry to ask some possibly stupid questions. Doesn't Geelong have 2 tracks with the inside one being synthetic, Isn't the purpose of the synthetic track to be used when the other one can't ie if the track is too rain affected?
