Due to many of the teams that have contacted Yorkshire Youth League, the management have decided to open the Yorkshire Youth League to all the junior divisions. This is as a result of teams mainly being frustrated with the stop start summer season.
The Yorkshire Youth League has opened the delegate (club) run leagues from Under 12's through to Under 16's. The season for these age groups will all start 2nd week October, giving teams the opportunity to finish their commitments in the current summer leagues and move back to playing winter finishing April/May.
The Yorkshire Youth League is giving the clubs the choice of when they wish to play. BARLA and the RFL understand that there is 'no one season suits all'.
The Under 17's and Under 18's, which have received record numbers of enters will continue to run from the 2nd week in September and will finish April/May.
Teams/Clubs that are wanting to enter teams in the new age groups from Under 12's through to Under 18's need to make themselves aware to Alan Boot on 07802521869 or 01132794333 or email him at alan.boot@yahoo.com as soon as possible.
