Manly were a very big mover in the World Club Challenge game last week with TattsBet, but were never really in the hunt against Leeds. The Sea Eagles were backed from $1.65 into $1.48, and although they may have been on the receiving end of a couple of dubious decisions, the Rhinos were simple too good.

That loss by Manly has seen some money come for the Warriors ($1.65) to beat them in the first round next week, and they have also eased out to $10.00 to win the title with TattsBet.

St George Illawarra won the Charity Shield against Souths, but clearly punters were not too impressed as there has been very little interest in the Dragons to take the title. The Dragons opened at $15.00, and that price is still there, but ironically Souths are into the same quote after being on the $17.00 last week.

The big money sides continue to be the Tigers ($7.50), Brisbane ($9.00) and Melbourne ($9.00), but we are expecting that things will change markedly as we count down to the season opener.

There have been a few other moves on the first round at TattsBet. The Titans have been $2.75 into $2.55 to beat the Cowboys after doing exactly that in a trial last week, and Brisbane have been $1.90 into $1.72 (Parra $1.90 out to $2.10) after the Eels picked up injuries to Hayne and Mannah in their trial last week.
