Wolves will host local rivals Wigan Warriors this Saturday in a top of the table clash at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The two north-west sides are sitting in first and second spot separated by just three points. A win for the Wolves at the weekend would take them to within one point of current leaders Wigan.

The Wolves edged the win at the DW stadium earlier this season but both sides will go into this game having now played 23 rounds of Super League so there is everything to play for once again.

Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: "The Warriors are a tough opponent. We've had some great games with them over the years and we are looking forward to another tough challenge. It will be another fixture that we'll need to be up for and I'm sure the players will be on Saturday."
