Wigan host Warrington Wolves at the DW Stadium on Friday in a huge local derby and Head Coach Shaun Wane is thoroughly looking forward to the meeting.

"I have watched their game against Wakefield, the Wildcats played well, they troubled Warrington big time. It will be a different game this week, they will have watched our game against London, no disrespect to those teams but this is a big game against the Monaghan's and Morley's and people like that.

"Their back rowers are dangerous, Westwood and Waterhouse are oustanding and a threat, they both have a good off load, they run strong and we need to be at our best, Lee Briers in another one who is playing really well and we need to target them.

"Their skill level is fantastic and they are hard to play against but if we concentrate on our defence we should be OK.

"We know what we need to do to win the game, we just need the right mentality on the day."

Wane admitted there is something special about Friday night action at the DW with great atmosphere, he added,

"It's our first night game for a long time, there should be a massive crowd and we seem to play better under the lights, the lads are ready for this game."
