by NRLWith both Sean O'Loughlin and Brett Finch doubts and set to miss Friday's Big One 4 fixture at the DW against Hull FC, England International Full Back Sam Tomkins has been given the honour to lead the side out.
Sam has skippered the team before in a Cup clash with North Wales Crusaders but not in Super League and admits it will be a huge honour, he told us,
"It is an honour for me and to follow in the footsteps of Sean O'Loughlin, it's big boots to fill. In Sean's absence Finchy has been a good leader, he has played alot and knows alot.
"For me as a kid who has grown up and understands the history of the Club, the special people that have been involved and are involved now, to lead the boys will be fantastic. There have been some true legends of the game that have been the Captain of this Club so to say I have done it just a couple of times is something special.
"I won't do anything different, naturally I'm quite vocal in the changing rooms and on the field so that won't change. I will still do the job to the best I can and try and help everyone out and that is something I would try and do anyway."
