Titans employee and rising Gold Coast musician Amy Cushway has released a rugby league-themed song and film clip titled "The Season'' featuring Titans players.

The film clip for The Season, which has gone live on YouTube and has already had over 1600 views, features Jetstar Titans players Jamal Idris, Greg Bird, William Zillman, Ryan James, Kayne Lawton, Ben Ridge and Brenton Lawrence along with a guest cameo appearance from Coach John Cartwright.

The film clip also features others Titans staff members including former players Preston Campbell and Clinton Toopi.

The Season is one of 13 tracks on Cushway's debut album titled It's A Happy City, which is available on iTunes.

Cushway, who works as an Administration Manager in the club's Community department, gained inspiration for writing the song from the Titans and said the overall theme of the track was depicting all the emotional highs and lows that fans of all sporting teams go through during the course of the season.

The film clip, which was shot at Skilled Park and inside the gym at the club's Centre of Excellence, features Cushway fumbling her way through training drills with the players and attempting to match it with her heroes in the gym.

Cushway said she was appreciative of the support the club had provided her and the effort the players went to in helping illustrate the song.

"I was already a strong Titans supporter before I started working at the club and the inspiration was driven by the team as well as the whole Titans family,'' said Cushway.

"Michael Searle created opportunities for me to play at home games, Titans functions and now I work at my favorite NRL club in a field I am very passionate about. I have had more support from this club than anyone could imagine, and I thought what better way to express my love and appreciation than in a song.

"The track did not take long to write at all, it was one of those songs where the lyrics just fell out of my mouth and onto a piece of paper within an hour of playing.

"I grew up watching humorous music videos from bands like Blink 182 and I wanted something light hearted and fun to watch. It was so much fun having the players in the video, the last thing I wanted was to force anyone to be in the clip but I think the boys enjoyed it just as much as I did. It was definitely something different for them and as you can see they are all very talented actors.''
