The Warriors will be right in the pink for their next home game against North Queensland at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday, July 01 (4:00pm kick-off).

The off-field Women in League focus will be a 'Time for High Tea' event on game day in support of Vodafone Warriors One Community and Look Good Feel Better.

And later in the afternoon the club's NRL side will acknowledge the Women in League initiative by wearing a wear a special pink Canterbury of New Zealand strip, now on sale at Canterbury of New Zealand stores and other sportswear outlets.

While the NRL's annual Women in League cause will officially be marked during the 16th round (June 22-25), the Vodafone Warriors will observe it a week later when they return to action after their second bye.

On the pinkest day on the Vodafone Warriors' calendar, the 'Time for High Tea' function will be held in Auckland's Maritime Museum overlooking the Viaduct Harbour.

Tickets are now on sale to Vodafone Warriors members and the general public for an event which promises to deliver a special treat with a feminine touch ahead of the club's crucial clash with the Cowboys.

Vodafone Warriors One Community manager Petrece Kesha said the 'Time for High Tea' concept provided an ideal opportunity to acknowledge the contribution women make to the game.

"It's an invitation for women to enjoy and indulge in all the things that make being a woman in rugby league so much fun," she said.

Featuring on the programme starting at midday will be 'Time for Retail Therapy' ? a charity auction ? featuring appealing lots with all proceeds going to Look Good Feel Better.

Kesha said funds raised during the 'girly' afternoon would be used to assist Look Good Feel Better in helping to transform the look and the outlook of more than 3000 New Zealand women with cancer every year.

The ticket price for the day includes a selection of afternoon tea treats, a choice of hot beverages or some bubbles, a Vodafone Warriors Women in League goodie bag, a covered West Stand ticket to the match against the Cowboys, travel by bus from the 'Time for High Tea' function to Mount Smart Stadium and a return trip to SKYCITY to meet the team at the post-match function at The Nation's Clubrooms.
