SYDNEY, April 28 AAP - Wests Tigers centre Tim Simona is facing a three-week suspension for a dangerous tackle on Gold Coast five-eighth Aidan Sezer.

Simona took down the Titans playmaker during the second half of Gold Coast's 22-6 NRL win at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.

He was charged with a grade-two dangerous throw on Monday and will sit out two matches if he pleads guilty and three if he fights the charge unsuccessfully.

Titans interchange player Paul Carter is set to miss his side's next game against South Sydney after he was hit with a grade-one high tackle charge.

Given carry-over points, Carter will miss the Rabbitohs clash even if he pleads guilty to the charge that resulted from a tackle on David Nofoaluma.

Canberra prop Brett White (tripping) and Wests Tigers backrower Bodene Thompson (dangerous contact) can escape bans with early pleas.
