Roosters will celebrate an important milestone in their last home game of the season with club veteran Anthony Minichiello celebrating his 250th game in the NRL this Sunday, August 26 against the Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park.

Minichiello, Roosters player number 994, made his debut with the Tricolours in 2000 and the club will honour a career that has to date resulted in a Premiership and a Golden Boot among countless other awards and club records.

In a huge game for the club, the Sydney Roosters will also farewell and pay tribute to captain Braith Anasta, player number 1055, who will be playing his last home game with the Tricolours, and also acknowledge Brian Smith's 600th game as a first grade coach.

The specially-themed Steggles Roosters Charity Nest match day is also dedicated to raising much needed funds for the four children's charities the Charity Nest supports including Children's Cancer Institute Australia, Lifestart, Children's Health Foundation Queensland and Save Our Sons. The Roosters will be wearing a unique jersey where the logo of major sponsor Steggles will be replaced with that of the Charity Nest.

The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest initiative has already raised $114,000 this season and in celebration of Steggles Charity Nest Week, Steggles and the Roosters will present $15,000 to each of the four charities - a total of $60,000. The half-time Steggles Chook Raffle will also give one lucky family the chance to win a holiday valued at $4,000 with 5,000 free entry tickets available at the gates. Additionally, children from the four nominated charities will form a guard of honour for the players as they enter the field.

Pre-match, the forecourt of Allianz Stadium will be a hive of activity targeted at raising additional funds for the Steggles Charity Nest via gold coin donation, with activities including an NRL photo booth, face painters, live music, jumping castles, pass the ball, player signing session, photo with Rooster Man and the Kwik Kopy cheer squad.

For those who want to support the Charity Nest during August, Steggles is also donating 30 cents from every specially marked Steggles Family Feast chicken sold during the month. This initiative alone is expected to raise $90,000 for the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest.

Tickets to Sunday's game are available now at www.ticketek.com.au. Gates at Allianz Stadium open at 11.30am with the Toyota Cup match kicking off at 11.45am and the main game scheduled for kick-off at 2.00pm.
