Queensland slight favourites for game two

Queensland has opened a slight favourite to win State Of Origin game two and secure a seventh successive series win.

TAB Sportsbet today opened the Maroons at $1.80 and NSW at $2 for game two at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on June 13.

The Blues have been the outsider for the previous six games - the last time they started favourite was in the opening game of the 2010 series.

"We expect NSW to be popular given the series is on the line and they are in front of a home crowd," said TAB Sportsbet's Matt Jenkins.

Queensland is now $1.25 to win a seventh straight State of Origin series and $2.75 to make it a clean sweep.

"At least one punter thinks NSW can turn the tide after having $3,700 at $4 on the Blues to win the series when betting reopened last night," Jenkins added.
