Queensland has played down injuries mishaps to winger BRENT TATE and forward NATE MYLES after they trained on a wet and slippery Sunshine Coast ground.

TATE quit midway through the session at Kawana's Stockland Park late yesterday, while MYLES called for attention after taking a big hit to his shoulder.

Neither player was rated a concern by Maroon officials after the 45-minute session.

Melbourne fullback BILLY SLATER remains the major injury worry for the Maroons with GREG INGLIS and North Queensland's MATTY BOWEN on standby with a decision expected by tomorrow.

Coach MAL MENINGA will also have to make a tough call on the final make-up of his pack and whether to retain South Sydney giant DAVE TAYLOR or go with big-hitting Broncos utility BEN TE'O who is pushing for a bench spot.
