fullback Joe Bond starred as the Dolphins showed why they are equal premiership favourites, dismantling the Central Capras 48-14.
Bond played a hand in at least five of the home side's nine tries, as well as grabbing two for himself, as he made a late claim for a Queensland Residents berth.
Donning pink jerseys to help celebrate the Women in League round, Redcliffe completely dominated from the outset as winger Liam Georgetown grabbed 16 points to surpass the 200-mark for this season.
Redcliffe opened the scoring in the fifth minute, after Bond sliced through the defenders, drew the fullback, and then sent winger Delroy Berryman away to score.
The Dolphins were scoring more than a point a minute when Marty Hatfield scored in the 12th minute and Berryman grabbed his second three minutes later in spectacular fashion. Hatfield broke the line, found Bond inside who provided a great ball to Berryman on his outside to score next to the posts.
Deja vu struck the crowd two minutes later when Bond again broke the defence, unloaded to flying hooker Tom Butterfield who covered the 30m in quick speed to score. Georgetown's successful conversions made it 24-0 at the 17 minute mark.
Capras Captain Tim Glasby celebrated his recent contract with the Melbourne Storm by scoring an incredible try in the 29th minute. A pass intended for Glasby found the turf, which Glasby kicked on the volley over the defence and regathered, beating Bond on the way to the line.
Roles reversed in the 36th minute when Berryman fielded a Jon Tavinor chip, found space then sent Bond away to run 60m for a try. Georgetown converted for a 30-4 lead, which also marked point 200 for the season.
Redcliffe started the second half well in control of the game, as they ran in three more tries in just 10 minutes.
Starting in the 45th minute, Bond grabbed his second try of the game when he was on the receiving end of a series of offloads.
He turned provider in the 51st minute, when he placed a perfect crossfield kick that Georgetown plucked out of the air to score. Bond featured again four minutes later, when he broke the defence and kicked in behind the fullback, allowing five eighth Maurice Kennedy to score.
Georgetown missed all attempts to leave Redcliffe ahead 42-4 in the 57th minute.
To the Capras credit, they never rolled over, and were rewarded in the 63rd minute when a superb backline movement was finished by Tyron Cranston who touched down in the corner.
Central continued the pressure and in the 71st minute crossed again, this time through Guy Williams who burst through the defence at close range. Cranston added the extras to leave the score at 42-14.
The afternoon wasn't over for Redcliffe however, as interchange hooker Tui Samoa showed blinding pace to step through the line 40m out and race away to score. Georgetown added the extras to give the full time score of 48-14.
REDCLIFFE DOLPHINS 48 (Joe Bond 2, Delroy Berryman 2, Marty Hatfield, Liam Georgetown, Maurice Kennedy, Tom Butterfield, Tui Samoa tries; Liam Georgetown 6 goals) def CQ CAPRAS 14 (Tyron Cranston, Guy Williams, Tim Glasby tries; Tyron Cranston goal) at Dolphin Oval.
