Wynnum enjoyed the better of the second half, while Redcliffe made uncharacteristic errors which the Seagulls were able to capitalise on throughout - going out to a 14-6 lead at one stage.
However, Redcliffe ensured the game would go down to the wire - when Delroy Berryman scored a sensational try.
Starting with a Luke Capewell chip ahead, it was collected by the impressive Joe Bond who flicked a pass on to his winger.
But in the end, it was too little too late and interchange forward Charlie Gubb sealed the deal for the baysiders after carrying a number of defenders on his back over the line, earning them back-to-back premiership victories.
After a physical opening in front of a 9,682 fans, Redcliffe broke the shackles when big centre Marty Hatfield strode through and delivered the perfect pass to Liam Georgetown, who raced away to extend his phenomenal try-scoring run to 17 consecutive matches.
Georgetown converted for a 6-0 lead and the Dolphins threatened to extend the lead almost immediately through danger man Luke Capewell.
But the Broncos contracted playmaker was twice denied by Wynnum's desperate scrambling defence.
Spurred on by a massive contingent of Wynnum fans, the Seagulls began to stamp their authority on the back of repeated Redcliffe turnovers.
The reward came through classy five-eighth Jacob Fauid, who found space after a wonderful off-load from skipper Luke Dalziel-Don.
Matt Seamark converted for a 6-6 scoreline after 37 minutes which saw them through to halftime.
The win was a sweet reward for the Seagulls who overcame a slump in form late in the season to bounce back when it mattered most.
For the Dolphins, it was a disappointing end to a year in which they were the dominant team, but they can still take pride in their performance, having won the minor premiership and the club championship.
