Punters starting to desert Queensland

Punters are starting to desert Queensland ahead of tonight's Game One of the State of Origin series.

NSW have attracted almost twice as many bets as Queensland today, forcing their price from $2.75 into $2.65. Queensland meanwhile are out to $1.50 in head-to-head betting.

In line betting, the Blues +6.0 point start is $1.90 into $1.80.

In first try-scorer betting, Greg Inglis is shaping up as a wipeout for Tattsbet should he score first and break the Origin try-scoring record. More than 20% of the money in this market has been on Inglis with his price firming from $9 to $7.50.

Mirroring the NSW trend, Tattsbet clients are looking for value in the man of the match market with the likes of Todd Carney ($10 into $7) and Glenn Stewart ($34 into $17) well supported. Jonathon Thurston remains a $5 favourite ahead of Cameron Smith at $6.
