One of the strongest rivalries in the competition - this match between the Seagulls and Burleigh Bears is sure to be an entertaining contest.

While the Bears are coming off a closely fought loss, Tweed Heads returned to the winners' circle in Cairns last weekend against the Northern Pride. But as with most derby games, current form counts for little, and this should be another typically bruising encounter with both teams looking to take the honours. Neither team have provided players to this year's Residents team.

Tweed have not named skipper Brad Davis who has been battling a hamstring injury. However, Davis is desperate to play and may yet be included in Ben Anderson's final line-up. Classy Titan Kayne Lawton who made his return last weekend - has again been named at five-eighth for the Seagulls.

While there will be no brotherly love on the field, the Seagulls will use this game to help raise funds for men's health awareness initiatives. Players will be wearing blue and black stripes with the jerseys to be auctioned off with the proceeds to go to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The junior club are also holding a fun day with jumping castles and other activities to raise money.

The mystery punter says: Tweed Heads by 6. The Tweed will be fancied by most punters, but a Burleigh win here wouldn't totally surprise. The Bears put in a committed performance against Ipswich last weekend and were unlucky not to come away with the two competition points.
