Both of these clubs have been dealt tough hands in terms of injuries this season but it is the Titans who will catch a break this week with the return of former Test forward Anthony Laffranchi.

Already battling along without key men such as halfback Scott Prince and Queensland State of Origin lock Ashley Harrison, the return of Laffranchi will at least add some strength to the Titans' pack.

The Raiders have had their own injuries woes this season and this week will be without Josh Dugan (groin) and forward Josh Miller (collarbone).

Playing on home soil, the Titans will have the opportunity to vacate the competition cellar if they can overcome the Raiders here. It was Laffranchi who scored an improbable try for the Titans to set up a golden point win over the Raiders back in Round 4. Canberra have never won at Skilled Park and have suffered a series of heavy defeats in recent matches.

Take the Titans to score a try as First Scoring Play and look to a Gold Coast win by a 13+ margin.

Players to include in First Tryscorer calculations are William Zillman, David Mead and Steve Michaels for the Titans or Blake Ferguson or Joel Thompson for the Raiders.
