Preview: Rd 5 Roosters v Warriors
by NRL

The Sydney Roosters are unlikely to face a tougher seven days this season. A week after being run off their feet against the Melbourne Storm, they are now expected to shut down the dynamic attack of the Warriors.

Good luck to that! The Warriors might not have hit the heights that carried them into last year's grand final just yet but their attacking game remains as dangerous as ever and if coach Brian McClennan decides to unleash rising star Glen Fisiiahi then the Roosters might be chasing until the cows come home.

Fisiiahi, one of the shining lights of the Warriors' Toyota Cup successes in recent seasons, is on a try-scoring run that leaves even Billy Slater in the shade. In successive matches playing for the Auckland Vulcans in the NSW Cup, Fisiiahi has scored nine tries - six against Western Suburbs and another three against Manly last weekend.

Team him up with Shaun Johnson, Feleti Mateo and James Maloney and the youngster may soon be racking up similar tallies in the NRL.

It is shaping as a long year for the Roosters, who have won two of their four games to date, but have managed to score just seven tries in the process. A limited attacking game is not going to cut it against a team with as match scoring potential as the Warriors.

Look to the Warriors to score a try or penalty goal as First Scoring Play and take a Warriors victory by 13+ points.

Best chances for First Tryscorer include Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Sam Perrett and Mitch Aubusson for the Roosters or Kevin Locke, Bill Tupou or Manu Vatuvei for the Warriors.
