Origin call ups force changes for Cowboys

Ashton Sims and Glenn Hall have been promoted to the starting prop positions with Matthew Scott and James Tamou in Origin camp with Queensland and New South Wales respectively, while Michael Morgan will take over from Dally M Medal points leader Johnathan Thurston at five-eighth.
Kalifa Faifai Loa returns on the left wing following Brent Tate's call-up for the Maroons, with Antonio Winterstein to start at right centre.
Hooker James Segeyaro will return from a one-week suspension and join the recalled Scott Bolton, Jason Taumalolo and Cory Paterson, as well as Ricky Thorby, on a five-man interchange bench that will be reduced to four later in the week.
The fourth-placed Cowboys will be chasing back-to-back wins at home, and three straight victories overall, for the first time this season when they host the Panthers, who ended their run of losses with an extra-point victory against St George Illawarra on Monday night.
Penrith have Luke Lewis and Michael Jennings on Origin duties.
Saturday night's match kicks off at 7.35pm and will be live on Fox Sports 2.
