SYDNEY, June 6 AAP - Preview of NRL Round 13 matches (all times AEST):

FRIDAY, June 7

Parramatta v Sydney Roosters at Parramatta Stadium 7.45pm

Head to Head: Eels 60 Roosters 59 Draw 5

Last clash: Round 4 2013 - Roosters 50 bt Eels 0 at Allianz Stadium

Tab Sportsbet: Roosters $1.30 Eels $3.50

FootyTAB: Eels +8.5

The Roosters were given a reality check by Melbourne in their last game two weeks ago, but will be confident of returning to winning ways against an Eels side who were walloped by the Gold Coast in Mudgee last time out. However, Ricky Stuart's side are a different beast at home, with all of their three wins coming at Parramatta Stadium, but morale is at a new low with 12 players being told publicly they are not wanted at the club.

Key: Jarryd Hayne. Inspirational for NSW against Queensland, will need to raise himself again if the Eels are to have any chance against the high-flying Roosters.

Tip: Roosters

SATURDAY, June 8

Newcastle Knights v St George Illawarra Dragons at Hunter Stadium 7.30pm

Head to Head: Dragons 18 Knights 9

Last clash: Round 5 2013 - Dragons 19 bt Knights 16 at WIN Jubilee Oval

Tab Sportsbet: Knights $1.40 Dragons $3.00

FootyTAB: Dragons +6.5

The Knights often look world beaters at home and egg beaters on their travels. After putting 40 points on Canterbury they slumped to the battling Warriors in Auckland a week later. The Dragons are struggling to find form and have lost five of their last six games with Jamie Soward dumped to reserve grade. He'll play in the curtain-raiser to this game for the Illawarra Cutters.

Key: Josh Dugan. Depsite spending most of the season on the sidelines, the former Canberra bad boy has been the Dragons' best player in recent weeks.

Tip: Knights

North Queensland Cowboys v Canterbury Bulldogs at 1300SMILES Stadium 7.30pm

Head to Head: Bulldogs 20 Cowboys 10

Last clash: Round 1 2013 - Cowboys 24 Canterbury 12 at Bluetongue Stadium

Tab Sportsbet: Bulldogs $1.50 Cowboys $2.65

FootyTAB: Cowboys +5.5

If reports are to be believed, Cowboys coach Neil Henry has to win this game or find himself clearing out the desk in his office. His star-studded side are are 4-8 and in danger of missing the finals. They have all of their State of Origin players back and need them all to shine, particularly Johnathan Thurston. The Bulldogs head to Townsville on the back of narrow win over St George Illawarra last week.

Key: Thurston was a passenger for Queensland on Wednesday against NSW, but his team and coach need him more than ever at the moment.

Tip: Cowboys

SUNDAY, June 9

Warriors v Manly at Mt Smart Stadium 2.00pm

Head to Head: Sea Eagles 16 Warriors 7

Last clash: Round 21 2012 - Manly 24 bt Warriors 22 at Patersons Stadium

Tab Sportsbet: Sea Eagles $1.72 Warriors $2.15

FootyTAB: Warriors +2.5

The Warriors have gone from the low of a 60-point drubbing by Penrith to the high of a 50-point mauling of Brisbane just two weeks later and will be full of confidence for the arrival of Manly. Russell Packer will be relieved to get back into action having taken the most expensive toilet break in history on the Suncorp Stadium pitch.

Key: Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans has a habit of playing well against the Warriors and the Sea Eagles have won nine of the last 10 games between the sides.

Tip: Warriors

Penrith Panthers v Wests Tigers at Centrebet Stadium 3pm

Head to Head: Panthers 14 Tigers 10

Last clash: Round 2 2013 - Tigers 28 bt Panthers 18

Tab Sportsbet: Panthers $1.26 Tigers $4.00

FootyTAB: Tigers +10.5

The Panthers have hit some stunning recent form, winning their last three to jump up to eighth place on the ladder. Coach Ivan Cleary will be hoping last week's bye hasn't disrupted their momentum. The Tigers on the other hand are coming off the back of a narrow two-point victory over North Queensland to snap a seven game losing streak. However, skipper Robbie Farah is out with a broken nose and fractured cheekbone.

Key: With the drought finally broken, the Tigers will be hoping Benji Marshall confidently returns to his best.

Tip: Panthers

Melbourne Storm v Cronulla Sharks at AAMI Park 6.30pm

Head to Head: Storm 16 Cronulla 9

Last clash: Round 25 2012 - Storm 20 bt Sharks 18

Tab Sportsbet: Storm $1.33 Sharks $3.40

FootyTAB: Sharks +8.5

The Storm stopped the recent rot with a much-needed win over the Roosters two weeks ago and will face a stern test from a Sharks side that's in brilliant form. Minus the suspended Paul Gallen once again, Cronulla head south on the back of four straight wins.

Key: Luke Lewis was immense for NSW against Queensland, and he will get the chance to go head to head with Billy Slater and co. once more at AAMI Park.

MONDAY, June 10

Canberra Raiders v Brisbane Broncos at Canberra Stadium 7pm

Head to Head: Raiders 18 Broncos 24

Last clash: Round 22, 2012 - Raiders 28 bt Broncos 12

Tab Sportsbet: Raiders $1.35 Broncos $3.25

FootyTAB: Broncos +8.5

Both sides have lost their past two games and are desperate for a win. Importantly for the 10th placed Raiders, they return home where they remain undefeated this year. The Broncos head into this match on the wrong side of a 56-18 drubbing by the Warriors and warmly welcome back Sam Thaiday, Matt Gillett and Corey Parker from Origin duty this week.

Key: The Raiders will need to get their right edge of Josh Papalii, Blake Ferguson and Sandor Earl firing in attack.

Tip: Raiders
