SYDNEY, Aug 27 AAP - Emerging Wests Tigers NRL star Luke Brooks has capped a memorable four days by being named in the Holden Cup Under-20s team of the year.

Brooks produced one of the most impressive first grade debuts in years as he sparked the Tigers in a 34-18 NRL win over St George Illawarra at the SCG on Saturday.

On Tuesday he was named the Holden Cup (Under 20s) competition halfback of the year.

Holden Cup Team of the Year:-

Centre: Hymel Hunt (Gold Coast)

Centre: Charly Runciman (St George Illawarra)
