New healthy food options and more food outlets have been introduced for Toyota Cowboys NRL home games at Dairy Farmers Stadium in 2012.

Venue food and beverage operator Spotless has announced there will be no price increase on food items or soft drink from last year.

To offer better value for Cowboys members and supporters, a range of 16 combo deals starting at $9.50 will be available for purchase from round one this Saturday night and there will be more "Healthy To Go" options including sandwiches, wraps, yoghurts, fruit salads and muffins.

The new range of food includes three new stadium burgers and Italian wood fired pizza in the western food court area.

As part of the changes for the 2012 season, Dairy Farmers will now have a Rock Paper Scissors express fish and chip shop, new frozen beverage options, a new Red Rooster combo meal, two Mini Melts ice-cream locations and a new pizza conveyer at Mamma Mia.

The number of coffee sellers has doubled to four, one on each corner of the ground, while four roving vendors will have a range of ice-creams on sale.

"Working in conjunction in Spotless, we believe we have come up with some family friendly deals which offer great value for money," Cowboys General Manager - Commercial Steve Mitchell said.

"There's certainly something there for everyone now as well as more outlets to ensure our members and supporters can buy their food and drinks more quickly."

There will be a price increase for alcohol this season in line with recent increases in government excise, CPI and other industry costs.

However, the cost of a beer at Dairy Farmers remains cheaper than at any other major Queensland stadium.

The most popular seller, a schooner (425ml) of XXXX Gold, will now cost $6.50.
