McGuire earns Broncos starting position

Josh McGuire's recent scintillating form has kept him the Broncos' number-eight jersey for the clash with the Warriors at Suncorp Stadium this Friday.

McGuire picked up three man-of-the-match awards while the Broncos' Origin players were on State duty.

That form has forced coach Anthony Griffin to leave him in the starting side at the expense of Ben Hannant.

Hannant will come off the bench while Alex Glenn will return to his schoolboy position of centre.

Glenn is cover for the loss of Jack Reed, with Matt Gillett moving into the second row.

Mitchell Dodds and Dunamis Lui are on a five-man bench for the Broncos.

The match will kick off at 7.30pm.
