by NRLInspirational fullback Brett Stewart has officially agreed to terms on a new fouryear deal with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, declaring his intention to remain a one-club player.
The 27-year-old, who's played 155 first grade games for the Sea Eagles and starred in two Grand Final victories, said he always intended to finish his career in the maroon and white.
"I love Manly, I've never wanted to be anywhere else and it's really satisfying to know I can play out my career here," Stewart said.
"We have a really tight playing group, a really positive culture and I want to be part of that for as long as I can."
The Australian International and New South Wales Origin fullback is approaching 500 career points with a formidable try-scoring record at Brookvale Oval.
He made his first grade debut for the Sea Eagles against Parramatta in Round 17, 2003.
"Brett is a quality player and a quality person and is an integral part of our leadership group," Coach Geoff Toovey said.
"Needless to say, he's highly respected by everybody at the club and it's outstanding he remains a one-club player."
