LONDON, July 10 PA - Former Newcastle NRL centre Keith Lulia will leave Super League club Bradford when his contract expires and return to Australia at the end of the year for personal reasons.

The 26-year-old, who has made 48 appearances since joining the Bulls from the Knights at the start of last season, is hoping to find a club back in the NRL.

His wife Kelly gave birth to a boy last week and Lulia said that was the primary reason behind his decision to head back to Australia.

"It will be good to raise our son around family back home in Wollongong," said Lulia, who is expected to represent Cook Islands in the World Cup before returning home.

"I'm happy at Bradford, I like the footy here and it will be sad to leave because I've had a good two years and made some good friends during that time.

"I had a contract here for two years so it works out quite well with the baby having arrived.

"I want to finish the season off on a high and we certainly haven't given up on the playoffs and will keep fighting to the death."

Lulia attracted the attention of Leeds last season as they searched for a new centre but their offer was rejected by the Bulls.

Loose forward Jamie Langley, Bradford's longest-serving player, also looks set to leave the club at the end of the year.

His contract is up and coach Francis Cummins says he has not been offered a renewal.

Back-rower James Donaldson has been offered a deal while Cummins is still waiting to hear back on former NRL hooker Heath L'Estrange and utility player Danny Addy's plans for next year.
