prop Kylie Leuluai has confirmed that 2013 will be his last season.

The veteran forward, who will turn 35 in March, has already postponed his retirement once, signing a new 12-month contract midway through last season, but insists there will be no second change of heart.

Leuluai spoke after October's Grand Final win over Warrington Wolves of playing on but told today's Yorkshire Evening Post: "This will definitely be my last year.

"We have already made plans to go home. I could play on for another two years otherwise but you have got to stop some time."

The Auckland-born Leuluai, who has made 189 appearances for the Rhinos since joining them from Manly Sea Eagles in 2007, is battling to overcome a knee injury in time for the Super League opener against Hull FC in 15 days' time.

Along with winger Ben Jones-Bishop, Leuluai stayed behind when the rest of the squad flew out to Portugal for this week's training camp and will not play in Sunday's Danny McGuire testimonial match against Bradford Bulls.

Coach Brian McDermott has named a side that includes all seven of the club's England internationals and new signings Joe Vickery, Joel Moon and Mitch Achurch.
