Prop Tom Learoyd-Lahrs returns on the bench for Canberra this Friday night, after overcoming a hamstring injury he picked up against the Knights in round 21.

It's a timely inclusion for the Raiders after they lost Sam Mataora for the season yesterday, with the young Raiders forward undergoing surgery today on his right ring finger to repair tendons which he damaged two weeks ago.

Glen Buttriss retains his place at starting hooker after an impressive return to the NRL squad on Sunday afternoon, with Shaun Berrigan maintaining his role as a utility from the bench.

Jarrad Kennedy will be 18th man.
