five-eighth Luke Kelly will be sidelined for the next six weeks after scans revealed he has a fractured left eye socket.

Kelly sustained the injury in the Eels' Round 19 loss to the Bulldogs. The injury does not require surgery.

Meanwhile, Jarryd Hayne has been ruled out of any early return for this week's Round 20 clash against the Melbourne Storm.

While Hayne's recovery from a foot injury is progressing well he will be unavailable for selection this week.
