Danny Orr, Ryan Hudson and Nick Youngquest have all signalled their intention to retire at the end of the year, but the 30-year-old Jones is expected to continue his career in the part-time Co-operative Championship.
"I've enjoyed my time here," said the former Wigan Warriors, St Helens and Huddersfield Giants second rower, who is coming to the end of his fourth season with the Tigers.
"I've had a good job opportunity come up and it is time I started looking towards my future career and this means stepping down from full-time rugby league.
"It has been a good experience at Cas. There's been a great bunch of lads over the years and the fans are second to none."
