Hull Football Club are closing in on 4,500 season pass sales following a massive week for the club which saw more than 1,500 supporters snap up their seats for the 2014 campaign.

In what was originally the club’s discount deadline week, a huge leap in sales saw the Black and Whites smash through the 3,000 and 4,000 milestones within a matter of days over the weekend.

Prompting the latest draws in the popular Challenge10k scheme with the winners due to be announced in the near future, sales have gathered pace on the back of a fans forum with new head coach Lee Radford, club owner Adam Pearson and Supporters’ Player of the Year Richard Whiting last Thursday.

The rush also comes a week before pre-season training gets underway as supporters continue the countdown to the start of the new Super League campaign by not only securing their seats for 2014 but flocking to buy their new home shirt.

Speaking to www.hullfc.com, Whiting said, “It just goes to show how good the fans at this club are. They’ve been great to me ever since I arrived at the club and they keep getting better.

“One of the real highlights of last season for me was the Tetley’s Challenge Cup semi-final and the way they got behind us. It does make a massive difference when you need a lift out there on the field and I’m looking forward to running out in front of them all again in 2014.”

If you haven’t bought your 2014 pass yet, it’s not too late. Simply visit the club’s retail stores at the KC Stadium or Savile Street or call our dedicated season pass hotline on 01482 327 200 to buy.
