As well as highlighting the sport's global relations, the fixture on Sunday, August 12, will give the city's young stars of the future the chance to watch their FC heroes in action for just &;5, with adult tickets costing just &;10.
With the match day also set to celebrate amateur rugby league in the city, a number of local clubs have been invited to play their part in the day, with their young players encouraged to attend the game wearing their own team's colours for the chance to win some great prizes.
And as part of a better-than-ever match day experience for the fixture, youngsters taking advantage of the offer will also receive a whole host of extras, including face painting, balloon modellers, live entertainment and the chance to meet the players, Airlie Bird and some of his other mascot friends.
Plus, those buying a ticket for the game will also receive 50 per cent off their next visit to Kinderland, the indoor play centre on Priory Park, Hessle.
Tickets for the match are on sale now and available in the North Stand. Supporters can pick up their discounted tickets from either of the club's two retail stores at the KC Stadium or in Savile Street, or by calling 01482 327200.
