The busy Easter weekend see's Huddersfield Giants host Salford City on Good Friday 6th April (kick off 3pm) and Hull FC on Easter Monday 9th April (kick off 3pm) at the Galpharm Stadium.

The victory over Super League and World Champions Leeds Rhinos last Friday evening saw the return of iconic back row forward Luke O'Donnell bolstering the Huddersfield Giants squad for what promises to be an extremely physical and demanding Easter period. Assistant Coach Anderson is pleased with the availability of the Claret and Gold squad which see's only three players currently in the treatment room:

"We go into the Easter weekend with a near full squad the only players who won't be available are Tony Tonks, Matty Dawson and Jacob Fairbank, we are pleased to have some bodies back. O'Donnell returned last week against Leeds, Kevin Brown and Dale Ferguson were back in training this week and Keith Mason completed eighty minutes for the under 20's last week."

The return of some influential players this week see's the Giants squad almost at full complement which couldn't have been timed much better with the Club competing three times in the space of a nine days but Anderson highlights the importants on focusing on one game at a time:

"We have had twenty-eight guys train this week all of which are capable of playing Super League for the Huddersfield Giants. We will be entering the Easter period fully focussed getting the points in each individual game. We will pick a team that we feel can do a job against Salford then we will come in on Saturday, reassess, and pick the best team to face Hull FC on Easter Monday, following that we will then pick the team to face Hull in the Challenge Cup on the Sunday. We have three games in a short space of time all of which are as important as each other; the focus has to be on one game at a time and continuing our form."

Salford are currently occupying the final playoff spot whilst Hull FC are competing at the top of the Stobart Super League table and Paul Anderson knows that both teams will pose different threats and that the squad needs to be focussed:

"We will have to focus on each game as it comes. Salford are competing well Smith, Holdsworth and Patten are all important to the team getting them around the park, but they have others going strong like Wildy, Vinnie Anderson, Moon and Gleeson. Hull play some expansive footy and they have taken to the new style of play and adopted it very well. The squad knows they have to approach each game with the right intensity."
