Kiwi international Josh Hoffman says he'll honour the final two years of his Broncos contract after holding peace talks.

Hoffman has been linked to the Bulldogs after appearing to fall out with the Broncos following their recruitment of Dally M Medallist Ben Barba, a direct threat to his No.1 Brisbane jersey.

However, Hoffman says he's now excited about the Broncos future after helping inspire Brisbane's surge to the recent Auckland Nines final.

Hoffman and his manager nutted out a clear path forward during a 90 minute meeting with Broncos boss Paul White and coach Anthony Griffin late yesterday.

Concerns over Barba's foot injury suffered at the Nines has ensured Hoffman will get another crack at Broncos fullback in their final NRL pre-season trial against the New Zealand Warriors at Dunedin on Sunday.
