forward Gareth Hock and Hull FC's Danny Tickle have both withdrawn from the England squad ahead of Wednesday's International Origin Game Two encounter against the Exiles at the Galpharm Stadium, Huddersfield, kick off 7.45pm.

Hock, who scored in the opening game against the Exiles in England's 18-10 victory last month, has pulled out due to personal reasons and is replaced by his club team-mate Liam Farrell.

Back row forward Tickle has suffered a bicep injury, sustained in Hull's 28-24 victory over Huddersfield Giants on Sunday, forcing him out of contention as England aim for a clean sweep against the Exiles. He is replaced in the squad by Hull KR's Scott Taylor, who makes the step up from the Knights squad after impressing last month in their victory over Ireland at Langtree Park.

"It is unfortunate that we have had three forced withdrawals from the squad this weekend," said McNamara after St Helens half-back Jonny Lomax became the first withdrawal on Saturday after sustaining a rib injury.

"The three players coming in Josh (Hodgson), Scott (Taylor) and Liam (Farrell) are all quality players currently in form. They now have a great opportunity of making the step up to this level and really pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

"I am very excited about the second game against the Exiles. It should be a physical encounter featuring some of the best players currently playing in the Super League. The fans will be in for a treat and need to get to Huddersfield for what should be a terrific game."
