Retiring club champions NATHAN HINDMARSH and LUKE BURT have been honoured at Parramatta's annual NRL awards ceremony.

HINDMARSH capped his glittering 15-year career at the Eels by winning his eighth Ken Thornett Medal for NRL player of the year and also took out the Jack Gibson NRL coach's award.

BURT retires as the eighth highest points-scorer in the game's history and second only to MICK CRONIN in the club's history.

Fittingly, BURT was named the Mick Cronin Clubman of the Year for 2012.
