Luke Capewell will make his debut for the NRMA Insurance Broncos in the first game of the double header this Friday night.

Capewell was the surprise selection in the Broncos' team named today to take on Manly in a match kicking off at 7pm at Suncorp Stadium.

The former Titan and Rabbitoh will play off the bench, with Ben Hunt moving into the halfback position to cover Peter wallace.

Wallace is expected to be out for a month with a groin complaint.

Hunt has played halfback as recently as three weeks ago when he starred in a 30-6 win over Canberra.

The rest of the Broncos' team is intact from Saturday's 30-20 loss to the Warriors.

Friday's second game will feature the Bulldogs and Titans kicking off at 8.45pm.
