CANBERRA'S NRL SEASON OF TORMENT:

March 10 - lose season opener 32-10 to Penrith

March 12 - Raiders suspend Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson after they skip a recovery session and engage in a drinking session on a Canberra rooftop

March 14 - Dugan sacked for repeat offences, Ferguson fined $10,000 and stood down for one week

June 17 - Ferguson stood down from the NSW Origin team and suspended indefinitely by the NRL after a late-night drinking session with Dugan. Ferguson charged with assault as a result of an alleged incident at a Cronulla nightspot involving a female patron

August 4 - Canberra suffer their biggest loss - hammered 68-4 by Melbourne

August 4-17 - lose three straight games to drop out of NRL top eight.

August 20 - David Furner becomes the first Raiders coach to be sacked mid-contract.

September 6 - Ferguson sacked after failing to front Raiders' board meeting to explain his erratic behaviour.
