Bradford Bulls have received notice from the Rugby Football League that the new Board of Directors has been ratified to run the club in Super League.

The new Board, Mark Moore, Andrew Calvert, Ian Watt and Ryan Whitcut, together with CEO Robbie Hunter-Paul, met with the RFL last Tuesday to discuss their Business Plan and proof of funding and the RFL has today formerly given the go ahead for them to proceed.

The RFL’s Director of Licensing and Standards, Blake Solly said:

“The RFL Board is pleased to conclude the process and confirm the change of control has been approved. We look forward to working with the New Board as they work hard to improve the position of the Bulls.”

Commenting on the decision Bulls Director Mark Moore said:

“We were confident that we had provided the Governing Body what they required to allow us to take control of the club but the formal ratification given to us today means we can carry on with the process of rebuilding the Bulls brand. I am sure there are exciting times ahead for all Bulls Supporters who can now purchase their Season Tickets with full confidence in the knowledge that the club will be in what is setting up to be the biggest and most exciting Super League season in its history.”
