Brown, who will join the Vikings on a four-year deal from 2013, will sit out Sunday's game at the Stobart Stadium as a result of a high tackle on prop Adam Sidlow during the Giants' 38-34 defeat by Salford City on Sunday.
Widnes skipper Jon Clarke will also miss Sunday's game after admitting a dangerous throw on Warrington centre Matty Blythe during his side's 68-4 defeat by the Wolves in Manchester.
Both players were eligible to submit early-guilty pleas to the grade B charges and accepted one-match bans.
