Ted Beaumont Trophy matches were played in the Southside 2, 3 and 4 grades.
At half time in the Southside 2 Ted Beaumont Trophy, Bulimba Valleys led St Brendans 16-8, having scored three tries to two. The second half was very close with Bulimba Valleys running out winners 36-30, scoring seven tries to six overall. Bulimba continues in the competition lead on 26 points.
Beenleigh Juniors led St Brendans 20-10 at half time in the Southside 3 Ted Beaumont Trophy, having scored four tries to two in the half. The second half was a thriller with Beenleigh winning 28-26, scoring six tries to five overall. Beenleigh moves to 28 points on the top of the competition ladder.
In the first half of the Southside 4 Ted Beaumont Trophy match between Slacks Creek and Rochedale Tigers, Slacks Creek scored five tries to two to lead 28-10 at the break. Slacks Creek went on with it in the second half to win the match 40-20, scoring seven tries to four overall. Slacks Creek move to 26 points at the top of the competition.
Pine Rivers, Dayboro and Pine Central Holy Spirit share the lead in Northside 1, on 17 points, after Pine Central beat Pine Rivers 26-20 and Dayboro beat Normanby 32 4. Valleys beat Christian Lions 36-6 to move to 16 points and Brisbane Natives beat Brothers Juniors 26-16 to go to 15 points, with Brothers on 12 points. Samford had the bye, leaving Brothers on 12, Lions on 10, and both Samford and Normanby both on 8 points.
In Northside 2, Mitchelton drew 30-all with Banyo to move to 18 points. Bayside Warriors beat Arana Hills 32-24 to move to 16 and Deception Bay and Aspley share 15 points after Deception Bay beat Christian Lions 32-12 and Aspley beat Gaters 38 16. Gaters are on 13, Banyo on 10, Arana Hills on 8 and Christian Lions on 3 points.
Bracken Ridge had the bye in Northside 3 to move to 26 points. St Josephs beat Ferny Grove 44-4 to go to 23 points, while Pine Rivers drew with Pine Central 26-all to move to 18 points. Burpengary moved to 16 points after beating Deception Bay 44-10 and Mitchelton beat Banyo 36-12 to go to 15 points. In the other match, Brighton beat Valleys 28-26, leaving Valleys on 13, Pine Central on 12, Brighton and Ferny Grove both on 11, Deception Bay on 7 and Banyo on 6 points.

Ted Beaumont Trophy matches were played in the Southside 1 and Under 20 grades.
The Under 20 match between Easts Juniors and Brothers Juniors was probably the best of the series. It was try for try throughout the match with Brothers leading 14-12 at half time after both teams had scored three tries. In the second half, Easts scored two tries to Brothers one, but Easts could not kick a goal and with 30 seconds to go, Brothers kicked a field goal to win 21-20 despite having scored four tries to five by Easts. Brothers move to the competition lead on 21 points with Easts being in second place on 20 points.
In the Southside 1 match, Logan Brothers scored two tries to one in the first half to lead Wests Centenary 12-6 at half time. In the second half, both teams scored a further three tries each with Logan Brothers winning 28-20, having scored five tries to four overall. Logan Brothers stay on top of the competition, now on 23 points, with Centenary in third place on 17 points.
