Grand Finals were played in the Northside 1, 2 and 3 Grades and semi-finals were played in the Premier Grade, Southside 1 and Under 20 grades.

In the Northside 1 Grand Final between Valleys and Brisbane Natives, Valleys scored the only try of the first half to lead 6-0 at the break. In the second half Valleys scored another four tries to win the match, and the premiership, 32-0, scoring five tries to none overall.

In the Northside 2 Grand Final between Normanby and Gaters, Normanby scored five tries to none in the first half to lead 24-0 at the break. Normanby went on to score another four tries to none in the second half to win the match, and the premiership, 44-0, scoring nine tries to none overall.

In the Northside 3 Grand Final between Aspley and Mitchelton, Mitchelton scored two tries to one in the first half to lead 8-6 at the break. Aspley scored three tries to two in the second half to win the match, and the premiership, 22-16, with both teams scoring four tries overall.

In the Premier Grade elimination semi-final, Logan Brothers scored three tries to one in the first half to lead Pine Rivers 16-2 at the break. Pine Rivers came back to score three tries to none in the second half and win the match 20-16, with both teams scoring three tries overall. In the major semi-final between Gaters and Easts Juniors, Gaters scored six tries to one in the first half to lead 30-4 at half time. In the second half, Gaters scored eight tries to none to win the match 76-4, scoring 14 tries to one overall. In next week’s Preliminary Final at Langlands Park at 3.00 PM, Easts Juniors will play Pine Rivers, with the winner to play Gaters in the Grand Final the following week.

In the Southside 1 elimination semi-final between Mt Gravatt and Wests Inala, Mt Gravatt scored three tries to one in the first half, to lead 16-6 at half time. In the second half, Inala scored four tries to one to win the match 28-20, scoring five tries to four overall. In the major semi-final, Bulimba Valleys scored three tries to one in the first half to lead 16-6 at the break. Bulimba scored one try in the second half to two by Redlands, giving Bulimba a 22-16 win, scoring four tries to three overall. In next week’s Preliminary Final at Langlands Park at 11.30 AM, Redlands will play Inala, with the winner to play Bulimba Valleys in the Grand Final the following week.

In the Under 20 elimination semi-final between Souths Juniors and Brothers Juniors, Souths scored three tries to two in the first half to lead 14-12 at half time. Souths scored a further five tries to two in the second half to win the match 38-24, scoring eight tries to four overall. In the major semi-final between Easts Juniors and Logan Brothers, Easts scored four tries to one in the first half to lead 20-4 at the break. In the second half, both teams scored a further three tries, giving Easts a 39-20 win, scoring seven tries to four overall. In next week’s Preliminary Final at Langlands Park at 1.15 PM, Logan Brothers will play Souths Juniors, with the winner to play Easts Juniors in the Grand Final the following week.
