Gaters won the Premier Grade Ted Beaumont Trophy defeating Easts Juniors 28-14.
Gaters scored two tries to one in the first half to lead 10-6 at the break. In the second half, Gaters scored a further three tries to two, winning 28-14, scoring five tries to three overall.
The win puts Gaters in the competition lead on 22 points, with Easts Juniors staying on 21 points.
The start of the match was delayed 30 minutes due to a power failure ten minutes before the scheduled starting time.
