Semi-finals were played in the Southside 2, 3 and 4 grades.

In the Southside 2 elimination semi-final, St Brendans scored two tries to one in the first half to lead Sunnybank 12-6 at half time. Each team scored one more try in the second half for St Brendans to defeat Sunnybank18-12, scoring three tries to two overall. In the major semi-final between Beenleigh and Slacks Creek, Beenleigh scored three tries to one in the first half to lead 16-4 at the break. In the second half, Beenleigh scored another three tries to two, winning the match 32-12, scoring six tries to three overall. In the Preliminary Final next Saturday at Langlands Park at 3.00 PM, Slacks Creek will play St Brendans with the winner to play Beenleigh in the Grand Final the following Saturday.

In the Southside 3 elimination semi-final, Bulimba Valleys scored three tries to none in the first half to lead St Brendans 16-0 at half time. In the second half, Bulimba scored four tries to two to win the match 36-10, scoring seven tries to two overall. In the major semi-final, Mt Gravatt led Slacks Creek 18-6 at half time, having scored three tries to one. Slacks Creek scored two tries to none in the second half, but Mt Gravatt won the match 22-16, with both teams scoring three tries overall. In the Preliminary Final next Saturday at Langlands Park at 1.15 PM, Slacks Creek will play Bulimba Valleys, with the winner to play Mt Gravatt the following week in the Grand Final.

In the Southside 4 elimination semi-final, Logan Wanderers scored two tries to one in the first half to lead Edens Landing 12-6 at half time. Both teams scored a further try in the second half with Logan Wanderers scoring three tries to two overall to win the match 18-10. In the major semi-final, Browns Plains scored three tries to two in the first half to lead Logan Brothers 16-8 at half time. Browns Plains went on to win the match 31-26, with both teams scoring five tries overall. Logan Brothers will now play Logan Wanderers next Saturday at Langlands Park at 11.30 AM in the Preliminary Final with the winner to play Browns Plains in the Grand Final the following week.

In Premier Grade, Gaters received a forfeit from Wynnum Juniors to continue in the competition lead on 33 points. Easts Juniors drew 18-all with Aspley to move to 22 points while Pine Rivers beat Logan Brothers 28-26 to move to 20 points. Logan Brothers and Aspley are both on 19 points. In the other match, Souths Juniors beat Carina 38-22 to go to 13 points, with Carina on 9 and Wynnum on 3 points.

Valleys beat Christian Lions 38-12 in Northside 1 to continue in the competition lead on 25 points. Brisbane Natives beat Brothers Juniors 28-22 to go to 24 points, while Dayboro beat Pine Central 24-12 to go to 23 points and Mitchelton beat Northlakes 22-16 to move to 22 points. Brothers Juniors are on 19 points, Christian Lions on 17 and Pine Central and Northlakes both on 11 points.

Normanby beat Gaters 34-24 in Northside 2 to maintain the competition lead on 33 points. Deception Bay beat Arana Hills 52-10 to go to 29 points, with Gaters staying on 27 points. Samford beat Banyo 42-6 to share 25 points with Aspley, who had the bye. Arana Hills are on 14 points with Banyo on 13 points. In the other match, Pine Rivers beat Bracken Ridge 30-14 for Bracken Ridge to stay on 11 points with Pine Rivers moving to 9 points.

In Northside 3, Aspley beat Valleys 44-28 to stay in the competition lead on 31 points. Mitchelton received a forfeit from Banyo to share 29 points with Brighton, who beat Deception Bay 62-22. Norths St Josephs moved to 25 points, with a forfeit from Banyo. Burpengary beat Pine Central 54-22 to go to 21 points, with Banyo and Gaters both on 19 points, after Gaters had the bye. Valleys stay on 17 points, with Deception Bay on 15 points, Pine Rivers on 10 and Pine Central on 9 points.

Bulimba Valleys beat Cannon Hill 44-8 in Southside 1 to maintain the competition lead on 36 points. Redlands beat Centenary 96-4 to move to 32 points with Mt Gravatt beating Inala 36-26 to go to 24 points with Inala staying on 18 points. In the other match, Logan Brothers beat Greenbank 30-20 to go to 15 points, with Cannon Hill on 13, Greenbank on 10 and Centenary on 4 points.

In the Under 20 competition, Easts Juniors beat Burpengary 54-10 to continue in the competition lead on 35 points. Logan Brothers received a forfeit from the withdrawn Northlakes to go to 28 points with Souths Juniors beating Springwood 84-6 to share 25 points with Brothers Juniors, who beat Carina 26-4. Norths Juniors beat Arana Hills 56-6 to move to 20 points with Burpengary on 19, Arana Hills on 13, Carina on 11and Springwood on 7 points.
