Semi-finals were played today in the Northside 1, 2 and 3 grades.

In the Northside 1 elimination semi-final, Dayboro scored two tries to one in the first half to lead 10-6 at half time. Dayboro won the match 22-10, scoring four tries to two overall. In the major semi-final Pine Rivers scored the only try of the first half to lead Valleys 4-0 at half time. Pine Rivers won the match 16-0 scoring three tries to none overall. Valleys will play Dayboro in the Preliminary Final next Saturday at Langlands Park at 3.00 PM with the winner to play Pine Rivers in the Grand Final the following week.

Gaters led Aspley 10-8 at half time in the Northside 2 elimination semi-final with both teams scoring two tries in the first half. Aspley went on to win the match 17-16, scoring four tries to three overall. In the major semi-final, Bayside Warriors led Mitchelton 18-10 at half time, scoring three tries to two in the half. Mitchelton came back in the second half to win the match 30-18, scoring six tries to three overall. Bayside Warriors will play Aspley in the Preliminary Final at Langlands Park next Saturday at 1.15 PM, with the winner to play Mitchelton in the Grand Final the following week.

In the Northside 3 elimination semi-final, Pine Rivers led Mitchelton 18-12 at half time, having scored three tries to two in the half. Pine Rivers won the match 30-22, scoring five tries to four overall. In the major semi-final, Bracken Ridge Bulls led Norths St Josephs 10-0 at half time, having scored two tries to none in the half. St Josephs came back in the second half to win the match 19-14, with both teams scoring three tries in the match. Bracken Ridge will play Pine Rivers in the Preliminary Final at Langlands Park next Saturday at Langlands Park at 11.30 AM, with the winner to play Norths St Josephs the following week in the Grand Final.

In Premier Grade, Gaters beat Wynnum Juniors 24-22 to retain the competition lead on 30 points. Easts Juniors beat Souths Juniors 32-18 to move to 27 points, with Aspley beating Carina 34-18 to go to 23 points. Wynnum stays on 20 points. In the other match, Greenbank beat Sunnybank 42-8 to leave Carina on 14, Greenbank on 9, Souths Juniors on 7 and Sunnybank on 6 points.

Logan Brothers beat Redlands 48-6 in Southside 1 to retain the competition lead on 33 points. Mt Gravatt beat Wests Inala 50-6 to move to 31 points and Wests Centenary stays on 25 points after being beaten 26-10 by Souths Juniors. Capalaba received a forfeit from the withdrawn Carina, leaving Souths Juniors and Capalaba Juniors both on 17 points, Redlands on 12 and West Inala on 6 points.

Bulimba Valleys stay on top in Southside 2 on 38 points after beating Rochedale 68 6. Slacks Creek beat Beenleigh Bulls 26-16 to move to 29 points and St Brendans beat Logan Brothers 13-12 to move to 28 points. Beenleigh Bulls stay on 20 points. Rochedale is on 17 points, Logan Brothers 16 and Wynnum Juniors 9 points after receiving a forfeit from the withdrawn Sunnybank.

In Southside 3, Beenleigh Juniors received a forfeit from the withdrawn Carina to move to 38 points. St Brendans were beaten 32-12 by Greenbank and stay on 26 points, while Mustangs Brothers beat North Stradbroke Island 50-0 to move to 25 points. Greenbank moves to 19 points, with North Stradbroke on 15. In the other match, Souths Graceville beat Capalaba 28-12 to move to 13 points with Capalaba on 10 points.

Slacks Creek retains the competition lead in Southside 4 on 32 points, despite being beaten 32-16 by Browns Plains. Logan Wanderers beat Edens Landing 40-32 to move to 25 points, while Edens Landing stays on 22 points. Waterford beat Capalaba 28-8 to share 19 points with Browns Plains. In the other match, Beenleigh Juniors beat Rochedale Tigers 56-22, leaving Capalaba on 11, Rochedale on 8 and Beenleigh on 6 points.

In the Under 20 grade, Easts Juniors continue in the lead on 31 points despite being beaten 20-12 by Logan Brothers. The win moves Logan Brothers to 30 points. Brothers Juniors beat Cannon Hill 76-4 to share 28 points with St Brendans, who beat Norths Juniors 78-10. Carina received a forfeit from the withdrawn Albany Creek to go to 22 points. Aspley stays on 16 points after forfeiting to Brighton Roosters. Redlands beat Waterford 36-22 to move to 15 points, with Brighton on 14, Waterford on 9, Norths Juniors on 4 and Cannon Hill on 3.
