Bulls Foundation are today pleased to announce that they have joined forces with Bradford Council and School Games to host a Schools Olympic Extravaganza at Odsal Stadium on Monday 25th June 2012 when over 10,000 children and young people from Bradford will attend in celebration of Sport, Music, Art and Dance

This week long project, in conjunction with National Schools Sports week, will begin with an "opening ceremony" on Monday 25th June 2012 at 10:00 am. The day will see over 10,000 children & young people descend on Odsal Stadium to participate in an event which will include a Mega Sing with a Symphony Orchestra, a World Record Zumba attempt on the pitch, Giant Art Work created by schools throughout Bradford, Parachute jumpers, Cheerleading and a Schools Olympic Parade.

The week will continue with sporting tournaments across the Bradford region of which finals will be held on the hallowed turf of Odsal pitch.

Commenting on the event, Foundation General Manager, Gareth Cook, said today:

"We are delighted to be able to host an event of this nature here at Odsal Stadium. With the upcoming 2012 Olympics, we were able to discuss with Bradford Council a way to leverage the benefits for the children & young people of Bradford specifically.

It is with immense pride that as a Foundation we are able to offer this week of events which we hope will be something that will stay within the minds those participating for many years to come."
