Northen vs South Coast Finals should go down to the wire.

Awesome that these two teams made the finals. South Coast were my pic from the beginning, they just needed to find their form. Northern, awesome talent in these teams. Wouldn't surprise me if the majority of the Qld school team are comprised of these 2 teams along with players from Met North.

Met north were very poor across the park today. Totally different team than the first game. Quite a few older boys in both finalists so we're always going to be strong. Well done for a clean and close carnival to all.

Yeah reddyred, I know that I'm with SC too. However it does give us and northern an advantage every year. Today in particularly some of the older boys were outstanding and got us rolling well. However the whole team played as a whole unit and deserve to take comp out if they play like that tomorrow

Will be interesting in the naming of the qld side today, some big names should not be picked by their performance ,see if they are picked on reputation or form

Awesome. Nice to see some new names in there. Good luck all in Darwin.

Thought the 2 number 7's in the squad were lucky ,but well done to get in and hope all go well at the nationals
Warrior01

Warrior01

I agree eagle10. Not many new names really, however the ones that are new were well deserved. Few boys got in that were lucky and a few boys were unlucky not to get in..all in all not a bad selection tho
eagle10

eagle10

Yeah good team ,impressive forward pack ,thought the 7 & 9 for northern we're very unlucky maybe selectors didn't want to put too many northern players in
ALX21

ALX21

Gela, Grieve and Schonig will all go close to representing QLD U18.

I feel sorry for Wide Bay not getting atleast one player named in the team, also Dale Madden would have been a strong candidate for a spot.

Both the northern props looked solid as rocks maybe it was the extra year they got on the others

Eagle 10, you are entitled to your opinion. There are a few that were lucky and a few that were not! number 7's were lucky? They deserve it and have been named! So congratulations and all the best in darwin and to the boys that weren't selected I'm sure we will see them performing in the near future!!
