I think Time Thief is a special. Very good first prep and will have matured over the break. Expect Heart Of Dreams to run on hard with its main target being the Cadbury Guineas.
TheNudge i heard of a good source that time thief is set for something bigger and longer in distance today is only a hit out maybe the stabal mate thats what is going around anyway
4 Heart of Dreams for me. Another BB i'm following confidently.
luv the look of all amercian but you would have to go with time thief but i might have all amercian in my all place bet
this could be the right race for fravashi, i am leaning toward the 3 or the 4 early hard to ignore time thief with 54 even if it is being preped for something longer will be an interesting race
gotta say im impressed with TIME THIEF... love the horse but really thought a few of these would find him out here... BIG prep coming up for this one... WHOBEGOTYOU and TIME THIEF will star and wage war against each other!!
Pretty sharp for a horse with bigger fish to fry over the autumn.
.........and didn't D.Dunn look happy to be on him!!!!
Fravashi for me was the best run. Had to go sideways in the straight to find clear running. You can keep TT and i'll take Fravashi
dont think we'll get to see them clash boys! Freedie & Dunn both sound as if they tackle the sprint races rather than the Guineas. He was weighted to win today Time Thief getting 3.5 kg's off Fernandina. Id like to see who Darley rate as their best - Drumbeats, Fravashi or Caymans..
That is a deal SIGRADA!!!
That surprises me MONEY... thought his last effort behind WHOBEGOT was a great pointer for a nag wanting more distance next prep.. Got him down as a 2000m nag... oh well back to the chalkboard!!
i agree sigrada there was a lot to like about that run frim fravashi, can not deny the class of TT in that one an Dunn did ride him like the best horse, there looks to be some interesting match ups in the future
I thought Fernandina was a good run with the weight in my opinion. If connections keep it restricted to 3YO sprint races it'll collect.
There was plenty to like about the winner. He really knuckled down when Dunn asked him to because Fernandina wasnt going away. Very impressive.
I think Fravashi's run was a beauty. Didnt get a great deal of luck but still ran a good race leading up to the Cadbury Guineas. I think Darleys best 3YO is Von Costa De Hero. Snowdens best 3YO would be a toss up between Caymans and Sousa. I still remember the Sandown Guineas. One of the most dominant wins of 2008.
Time thief was definitely suited by the set weights for the race but he won like a good horse and if you can believe Lee he has rrom to improve. I agree with nudge Fernandina in this grade short trips will win soon.
